Thinking About Thoughts

Bit of a “deep” rant and rave and I am not entirely sure whether I make much sense or just speaking complete gibberish. This post lacks structure also but I would love to hear your thoughts.

So! have you ever wondered why some people are always down in the dumps, or other people are always cheery all the time?

Or ever wondered why some people always look miserable and some look happy?…

For me, I do a lot of thinking. Too much thinking in fact. And that’s not a good thing! sure it might make you a more cautious as a person and changes your way of thinking for better but what I’m talking about is the “Dark Stratosphere”. This is my theory that your mind and thoughts are built like the layers of the Earth’s atmosphere.

PLEASE NOTE: This is just my interpretation of how my thoughts are derived.

  • The first inner layer are the thoughts that keep you alive, the thoughts that make you do things you do without thinking such as breathing, seeing, etc. This is a type of “Doing Thought”
  • The second layer comprises of the thoughts the sub-conciousness. This is different to the first layer as these are the things you do without thinking but don’t necessarily need to stay alive. The sub-consciousness can be influenced either by the third of forth layer. This is also a type of “Doing Thought”
  • The third layer comprises of all the good thoughts you have. The “Light Stratosphere” as you will. Where sunshine beckons across your mind, and everything happy exists in this layer. This is a type of “Thinking Thought”
  • The forth layer comprises of all the bad thoughts you have. The “Dark Stratosphere” and as expected, this is where all your bad thoughts come from. This is also a type of “Thinking Thought”

Your brain uses these layers so you do the things you do right now.

Now, imagine your brain as a magnet only for the third and forth layers. If you and your body are feeling in a happy mood then your brain is pulling happy thoughts from the third layer. If you enjoy being happy, then you will keep extracting more happy thoughts to you. Live in this stratosphere and you will subconsciously do things that will make you happy thus remaining happy. Those who are in this state have a smaller sized “Dark Stratosphere”

If you are in a depressed state then your brain will pull in bad thoughts from the forth layer. Get stuck in this layer and things can be quite catastrophic. Live in this stratosphere and you will subconsciously do things that will make you unhappy thus remaining unhappy. And those who are in this state have a smaller sized “Light Stratosphere”

And here’s another theory, when two people get together, then it is possible for layers to overlap thus two people can share the same layer which in turn sharing the same thoughts.
