So today has been one month since I started blogging and quite honestly I thought I would get bored of it! Instead, I’m an addict to blogging and writing. The first thing I do in the morning is check for any notifications from WordPress (a little bit sad I know), then the next thing on my mind is, can I write something that I like to write but most important you, the reader, would enjoy.
Sometimes ideas just flow through but sometimes I just get a “writer’s block”, and I guess another reason why I love blogging is because it provides me a place to share and express my thoughts. Like a place to relieve stress, anxiety, and sadness. It’s also a place that has revitalised my creativity! 🙂
And another reason is that I no longer have to spend a lot of money to enjoy something. Before blogging, I would spend numerous hours in a pub drinking away my wallet! Don’t get me wrong, I still go out and encourage people to do so but it’s when you have nothing better to do, you can just open up WordPress and talk about anything.
From day one, I’ve noticed a lovely community of fellow bloggers and it’s just brilliant to interact with other people who I may not necessarily know. And other bloggers have some awesome work to admire too! sometimes even inspirational.
I love the fact that there is a little statistics function in WordPress to show how many people have viewed my blog, where they have viewed it from, and generally shows you what’s been viewed etc. I can kinda suss where people are from in a non creepy way, and also gives me a sort of target to reach; for example, trying to achieve more views for the week.
So whether you’re from USA, UK, France, Belgium, Philippines, or India, and many many more! I thank you for checking out my blog, being supportive, and just giving me inspiration really. Without you guys, I would have given up.
Rant and rave over
